The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute Brenton Carrasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jano Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jano Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Randell McCullough in the 14th minute of the match. Jano Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gale Laliberté, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Social Anarquia F.C. OFF's Jano Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Randell McCullough in the 21st minute of play. When Sandy Hendrix fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Varennes's protests and gave Sandy Hendrix a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, one of Varennes:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Varennes. Brice Leach had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Gonçalo de Queirós's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 25th play minutes Osvaldo Zonta shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Brice Leach and just under the crossbar into goal. Randell McCullough hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Luc McGhee hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. When Jânio Neiva came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Social Anarquia F.C. OFF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jânio Neiva couldn't finish the play.

Varennes's Adolphe Murdock was substituted for Brad Elliott. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Osvaldo Zonta to strike the kick off in the second half. If Osvaldo Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Salvador Braswell kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 59 minutes of play, Social Anarquia F.C. OFF's Jânio Neiva made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brice Leach was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jânio Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Brice Leach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Osvaldo Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Jânio Neiva notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Varennes's Brice Leach. Brice Leach was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Felicien Mooney fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Varennes's protests and gave Felicien Mooney a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of Varennes:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Social Anarquia F.C. OFF:s goal. 85 minutes into the match, Social Anarquia F.C. OFF's goalkeeper Jano Medeiros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ellsworth Lindsay. In the 90th minute, Osvaldo Zonta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brice Leach was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Brice Leach came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Social Anarquia F.C. OFF's Osvaldo Zonta. But to his dismay, Osvaldo Zonta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0.
