After 15 played minutes, Vae Victis!!'s Reginaldo Linares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Henning Sæmer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vae Victis!! reached it. After having played for 22 minutes, Dimitar Berbatov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Nordsjælland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dimitar Berbatov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sindre Walle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Tiago Gabriel Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitar Berbatov, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 79th minute Sindre Walle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Gabriel Cabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vae Victis!!'s Greg Moore got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Benjamin Nygren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute.
