In the 21st minute, Tansel İlksen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guido Merexildo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Öz Bern SK's Kılıç Uğural proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Öz Bern SK from getting a goal against them. Kılıç Uğural made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saturnino Gaskon in the 23rd minute. Saturnino Gaskons short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Kılıç Uğural to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kılıç Uğural took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Tabby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th match minute, Öz Bern SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tansel İlksen to maneuver through the defense. Richard Nixon kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Tansel İlksen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. The score was now 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amador Ostots to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Öz Bern SK's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Gaskon came free, but Kılıç Uğural reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Proson FC booed when Öz Bern SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tansel İlksen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kılıç Uğural took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albertino Bezerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 played minutes Öz Bern SK got a freekick which was hit by Aras Tamerk. Kılıç Uğural made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Gaskon in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Saturnino Gaskon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Kılıç Uğural was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Öz Bern SK's Kılıç Uğural played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Tabby in the 63rd minute of play. Kılıç Uğural made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Gerardo Kinsen took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kılıç Uğural. Kılıç Uğural dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Hikmet Özinal kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute of the match Serafino Elizardo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kılıç Uğural showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 86 played minutes Öz Bern SK got a freekick which was hit by Nejat Akçakan. Kılıç Uğural made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Gaskon in the 87th minute of play. Çakır Sözer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Guido Merexildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Proson FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
