The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A hard shot 3 in the game by Jefferson Rodrigues from a close distance when the talented Kılıç Uğural managed to make a qualified save. Öz Bern SK's players were relieved. The supporters of Öz Bern SK booed when Aesir FC FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Duda Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çakır Sözer in the 7th minute of the match. Aesir FC FSCMZ's Duda Soeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tansel İlksen in the 12th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Igor Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute Osmar Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kılıç Uğural saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Çakır Sözer fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Öz Bern SK's protests and gave Çakır Sözer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th match minute, Öz Bern SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Çakır Sözer to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Délio Araújo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kılıç Uğural. The goal made the score 1-0. Kılıç Uğural made an important save on a dangerous shot by Osmar Marinho in the 22nd minute. Öz Bern SK's Kılıç Uğural proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Öz Bern SK from getting a goal against them. In the 26th match minute, Aesir FC FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doriva da Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. Kılıç Uğural took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Délio Araújo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the game, Haldun Ugraş was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Öz Bern SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aesir FC FSCMZ the free kick. Öz Bern SK's Kılıç Uğural played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jefferson Rodrigues in the 37th minute of play. A collision led to Öz Bern SK getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Çakır Sözer hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, Öz Bern SK's goalkeeper Kılıç Uğural had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jefferson Rodrigues. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jefferson Rodrigues made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Osmar Marinho in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kılıç Uğural prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jefferson Rodrigues hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Osmar Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Kılıç Uğural tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hikmet Özinal hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Jefferson Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute, Tansel İlksen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aesir FC FSCMZ's Jefferson Rodrigues got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nejat Akçakan hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute Délio Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kılıç Uğural saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 played minutes Aesir FC FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Varela. Kılıç Uğural showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osmar Marinho in the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th minute Aesir FC FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Igor Porto went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Aesir FC FSCMZ's corner Igor Porto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kılıç Uğural quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Aesir FC FSCMZ's Célio Botelho got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After 95 minutes of play Öz Bern SK's Çakır Sözer was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground.
