After a rather tough play, SC Angrense's Mateus Vilela got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute Aristides Cavaco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Gabriel Cabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Falcão Garcia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vae Victis!! fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Juninho Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Ezequiel Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 32 minutes, Juninho Lopes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vae Victis!! and the SC Angrense players grew even worse after the yellow card. Juninho Lopes hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Tiago Gabriel Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Cavaco, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Tiago Gabriel Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Pereira in the 40th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Emanuel Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Angrense's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Pereira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiago Gabriel Cabral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sebastião Monsanto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitório Pimenta in the 45th minute of the match. If Aristides Cavaco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Falcão Garcia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Emanuel Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Angrense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Pereira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebastião Monsanto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitório Pimenta in the 53rd minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Alfredo Arruda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Angrense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vae Victis!! the free kick. The supporters of Vae Victis!! booed when SC Angrense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Arruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, SC Angrense's Tiago Gabriel Cabral threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Caetano Curado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 61 minutes into the match, Vae Victis!!'s goalkeeper Tiago Gabriel Cabral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateus Vilela. In the 63rd minute Caetano Curado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Gabriel Cabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vitório Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Sebastião Monsanto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vae Victis!!'s Greg Moore was substituted for Falcão Garcia. After 68 minutes, Vitório Pimenta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vae Victis!! and the SC Angrense players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aristides Cavaco in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tiago Gabriel Cabral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner led SC Angrense's Caetano Curado to fire away a dangerous shot which Tiago Gabriel Cabral despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 73 played minutes SC Angrense got a freekick which was hit by Mladen Kertov. Tiago Gabriel Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Cavaco in the 76th minute of play. Bebeto Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Tiago Gabriel Cabral made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Aristides Cavaco sent off a good shot on target. Sebastião Monsanto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitório Pimenta in the 83rd minute of play. Emanuel Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Tiago Gabriel Cabral managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when SC Angrense's Aristides Cavaco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Vae Victis!!'s Tiago Gabriel Cabral got control of the ball when Aristides Cavaco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sebastião Monsanto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renan Sabóia in the 93rd minute of play.
