Haroldo Corderun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Zuriko Lagala made a huge save. In the 20th minute Urki Parga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Sugar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zuriko Lagala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Kaxen in the 23rd minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Inter de Guayaquil FC's corner Urki Parga fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Emilio Sugar quite easily take care of the ball. When Inter de Guayaquil FC's Urki Parga in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vicente Depino couldn't finish the play. But to his dismay, Haroldo Corderun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-6. The Matador supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Inter de Guayaquil FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Inter de Guayaquil FC.
