The referee ignored AC DeMiRHaN's protests and gave Guy Michel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to AC DeMiRHaN getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Guy Michel hit a great ball. In the 6th minute, Nelsinho Catarinense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Poveda in the 8th minute of play forced AC DeMiRHaN's goalkeeper Anson Anthony to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute of the match AVAÍ F.C. got a corner. AC DeMiRHaN's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nelsinho Catarinense ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led AVAÍ F.C.'s Nelsinho Catarinense to fire away a dangerous shot which Anson Anthony despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Gabriel Poveda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Anson Anthony was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 14 played minutes AC DeMiRHaN got a freekick which was hit by Guy Michel. Marcos Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wen Nan Fan, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Anson Anthony took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Poveda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AVAÍ F.C.'s Marcos Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Werner Uhl in the 28th minute of play. AC DeMiRHaN's Anson Anthony played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateus Alves in the 38th minute of play. Werner Uhl received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcos Catarinense came out and tried to block the shot, but Werner Uhl slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 40th minute. Werner Uhl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Werner Uhl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabriel Poveda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rex Stinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Werner Uhl managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC DeMiRHaN's supporters rose to their feet, but Werner Uhl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Catarinense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcos Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wen Nan Fan, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, AC DeMiRHaN's Guy Michel got a free kick in the 62nd minute. AVAÍ F.C.'s Oswaldo Recife was substituted for Nelsinho Catarinense. In the 64th minute of the match Mateus Alves shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anson Anthony showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marcos Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rex Stinson in the 66th minute of the match. In the 69th minute Nathaniel Cedillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wen Nan Fan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Marcos Catarinense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wen Nan Fan in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Catarinense saved AVAÍ F.C. from getting behind. The supporters of AC DeMiRHaN booed when AVAÍ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oswaldo Recife didn't get a good kick on the ball. AC DeMiRHaN's Wen Nan Fan got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcos Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wen Nan Fan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th match minute, AC DeMiRHaN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zachariasz Tokarczyk to maneuver through the defense. Werner Uhl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Catarinense having to interfere. Nathaniel Cedillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Marcos Catarinense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Wen Nan Fan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Catarinense was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. AC DeMiRHaN fully deserved thier win.
