Amador Ostots struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Tiago Gabriel Cabral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Proson FC. In the 14thth minute of the game Amador Ostots who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vae Victis!!'s Tiago Gabriel Cabral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Falcão Garcia got free with Guido Merexildo in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Falcão Garcia scored 1-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guido Merexildo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Albertino Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 25 played minutes Proson FC got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Tabby. Amador Ostots sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Vae Victis!! getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Rodolfo Fernandes hit a great ball. Vae Victis!!'s Tiago Gabriel Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Lorenz in the 44th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When Nestor Iigo fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Proson FC's protests and gave Nestor Iigo a yellow card for diving instead. Nestor Iigo hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Domingos Lorenz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Gabriel Cabral having to interfere. If Albertino Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Ostots in the 71st minute of play forced Vae Victis!!'s goalkeeper Tiago Gabriel Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Vae Victis!!'s Bebeto Dantas got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Vae Victis!! made a substitution. Greg Moore replaced Falcão Garcia. Vae Victis!!'s Renan Sabóia was substituted for Juninho Lopes. The supporters of Proson FC booed when Vae Victis!! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bebeto Dantas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amador Ostots received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Saturnino Gaskon might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiago Gabriel Cabral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saturnino Gaskon ran back to his position shaking his head. When Reginaldo Linares fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vae Victis!!'s protests and gave Reginaldo Linares a yellow card for diving instead. Reginaldo Linares hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Many of Proson FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Proson FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Vae Victis!! were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
