In the 8th minute Dimitar Berbatov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Gabriel Cabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9 minutes of play, Vae Victis!!'s Vitório Pimenta made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henning Sæmer was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 12th match minute, FC Nordsjælland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddie Græsborg to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Vae Victis!!'s goal looked a bit too open when Dimitar Berbatov came free, but Tiago Gabriel Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Benjamin Nygren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Nordsjælland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 26th minute, Benjamin Nygren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiago Gabriel Cabral was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sindre Walle in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiago Gabriel Cabral saved Vae Victis!! from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bebeto Dantas in the 36th minute of play forced FC Nordsjælland's goalkeeper Henning Sæmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sindre Walle in the 39th minute of play forced Vae Victis!!'s goalkeeper Tiago Gabriel Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henning Sæmer was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Reginaldo Linares. Sindre Walle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sindre Walle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Tiago Gabriel Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benjamin Nygren to make the kick off. Henning Sæmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitório Pimenta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute Filipe Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Sæmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sindre Walle came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the FC Nordsjælland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sindre Walle couldn't finish the play. Tiago Gabriel Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Nygren in the 65th minute of play. Benjamin Nygren took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiago Gabriel Cabral. Tiago Gabriel Cabral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Vae Victis!!'s Greg Moore was substituted for Falcão Garcia. In the 69th match minute, Vae Victis!! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Greg Moore to maneuver through the defense. Tiago Gabriel Cabral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sindre Walle's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. The supporters of FC Nordsjælland booed when Vae Victis!! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Greg Moore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vae Victis!!'s Renan Sabóia was substituted for Juninho Lopes. After 75 played minutes Vae Victis!! got a freekick which was hit by Greg Moore. In the 77th minute Vitório Pimenta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Sæmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sindre Walle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Tiago Gabriel Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Dimitar Berbatov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiago Gabriel Cabral. Vae Victis!!'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dimitar Berbatov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Henning Sæmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitório Pimenta, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After 90 played minutes FC Nordsjælland's Sindre Walle stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Tiago Gabriel Cabral stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Vae Victis!! of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Eberhardt Sarbak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute Vitório Pimenta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Sæmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henning Sæmer came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Vae Victis!!'s Greg Moore. But to his dismay, Greg Moore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. FC Nordsjælland's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
