The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivan Copil got free with Baltasar Mercurio in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Baltasar Mercurio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kosmas Simertzidis in the 17th minute of the match. Baltasar Mercurio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erwin-Alexander Verduyckt in the 19th minute. Baltasar Mercurio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivan Copil's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Baltasar Mercurio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Copil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33 minutes Manchester United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Everardo Rayman who took care of the corner kick. In the 36th minute, Spyros Karastamatis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baltasar Mercurio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 38 minutes into the match, Berisso Dortmund's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Copil came free, but Baltasar Mercurio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Kosmas Simertzidis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Baltasar Mercurio. The goal made the score 2-0. Ivan Copil scored 3-0 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baltasar Mercurio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivan Copil to make the kick off. Berisso Dortmund's Baltasar Mercurio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Copil in the 52nd minute of play. With a left leg Baltasar Mercurio saved Berisso Dortmund from getting behind. Baltasar Mercurio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erwin-Alexander Verduyckt went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Baltasar Mercurio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Copil, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After 70 minutes of play, Berisso Dortmund's Eustacio Gilabert made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iosif Puric was left in no man's land by his defense there! Berisso Dortmund's Leonel Gasteiz was substituted for Raul Vermudo. Baltasar Mercurio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Copil, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Berisso Dortmund's Baltasar Mercurio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Copil in the 75th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Ivan Copil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baltasar Mercurio was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Kosmas Simertzidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Mercurio having to interfere. When Manchester United's Ivan Copil in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 8-1 when Ivan Copil sped through Berisso Dortmund's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Baltasar Mercurio. When the referee ended the match the Manchester United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
