Baltasar Mercurio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Wielopolski, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute of the match, Eustacio Gilabert got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ivan Chiuzbaian was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Flavio Txomin was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 30 minutes into the match, Zhao Sen Yang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baltasar Mercurio. Berisso Dortmund's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zhao Sen Yang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 33rd minute Raul Vermudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Chiuzbaian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baltasar Mercurio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Wielopolski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baltasar Mercurio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Wielopolski in the 37th minute of play. Baltasar Mercurio came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Primitivo Grau. But to his dismay, Primitivo Grau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Grau in the 44th minute of play forced Berisso Dortmund's goalkeeper Baltasar Mercurio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petre Iftode scored 0-5 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baltasar Mercurio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alonzo Mede made a kick off. Baltasar Mercurio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Wielopolski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baltasar Mercurio made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Emil Wielopolski sent off a good shot on target. Stasio Bienienda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Baltasar Mercurio made a huge save. After some careless play in the Berisso Dortmund defense, Zhao Sen Yang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baltasar Mercurio. The Berisso Dortmund fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baltasar Mercurio should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Baltasar Mercurio. That made the score 0-7 after 60 minutes of play. 62 minutes into the match, Berisso Dortmund's goalkeeper Baltasar Mercurio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Primitivo Grau. Berisso Dortmund's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Emil Wielopolski 64 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-8. Zhao Sen Yangs short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Baltasar Mercurio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 69 minutes into the match, Berisso Dortmund's goal looked a bit too open when Petre Iftode came free, but Baltasar Mercurio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Primitivo Grau took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Baltasar Mercurio to make any attempt to save it. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
