The Tarsus İdman Yurdu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rıdvan Işık should have stopped the shot. Tarsus İdman Yurdu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aykan Şatıroğlu in the 19th minute. The corner led Tarsus İdman Yurdu's Alican Geylanoğlu to fire away a dangerous shot which Iosif Puric despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Erwin-Alexander Verduyckt succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 21st playminute. 26 minutes into the match, Ivan Copil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rıdvan Işık. Tarsus İdman Yurdu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivan Copil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Tarsus İdman Yurdu's Rıdvan Işık played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Spyros Karastamatis in the 30th minute of play. Rıdvan Işık made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erwin-Alexander Verduyckt in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Copil in the 37th minute of play forced Tarsus İdman Yurdu's goalkeeper Rıdvan Işık to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Copil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Rıdvan Işık made a huge save. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ivan Copil to strike the kick off in the second half. Ivan Copil took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rıdvan Işık. Rıdvan Işık dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Pantelis Papaiakovou hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Iosif Puric took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciprian Bârlea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iosif Puric came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tarsus İdman Yurdu's Ciprian Bârlea. But to his dismay, Ciprian Bârlea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. After 70 minutes of play, Manchester United's Ivan Copil made it 9-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rıdvan Işık was left in no man's land by his defense there! 75 minutes into the match, Tarsus İdman Yurdu's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Copil came free, but Rıdvan Işık reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tarsus İdman Yurdu were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Manchester United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aykan Şatıroğlu took the corner. After a rather tough play, Tarsus İdman Yurdu's Bayezit Macit got a free kick in the 96th minute. In the 97th minute, Erwin-Alexander Verduyckt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manchester United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-1.
