Öllsjö FC's Erivaldo Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Spyros Karastamatis in the 28th minute of play. Iosif Puric took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Massa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Öllsjö FC were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Manchester United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Karl-Åke Håkansson took the corner. In the 66th minute, Spyros Karastamatis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erivaldo Netto. The goal made the score 1-1.
