With a little luck, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ivan Chiuzbaian got control of the ball when Youssef Malek tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th minute, Zhao Sen Yang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olavo Velloso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Zhao Sen Yang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Revolución Joao FC's Olavo Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhao Sen Yang in the 35th minute of play. Olavo Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhao Sen Yang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Grau in the 40th minute of play forced Revolución Joao FC's goalkeeper Olavo Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ivan Chiuzbaian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- from getting a goal against them. Ivan Chiuzbaian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cuero Ibañez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute of the match Stasio Bienienda sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olavo Velloso skillfully saved the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

If Primitivo Grau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Ivan Chiuzbaian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zhao Sen Yang in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Olavo Velloso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zhao Sen Yang in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olavo Velloso saved Revolución Joao FC from getting behind. Zhao Sen Yang came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Olavo Velloso could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Revolución Joao FC's Youssef Malek got a free kick in the 65th minute. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Grigore Maghiran was substituted for İlhami Akyazıcı. After having played for 66 minutes, Primitivo Grau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Primitivo Grau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aguinaga Casasola took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Chiuzbaian. Ivan Chiuzbaian dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Zhao Sen Yang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Olavo Velloso made a huge save. Olavo Velloso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zhao Sen Yang's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Ivan Chiuzbaian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Youssef Malek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zhao Sen Yang who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Olavo Velloso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Olavo Velloso made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Primitivo Grau sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Revolución Joao FC's Olavo Velloso got control of the ball when Zhao Sen Yang tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Revolución Joao FC booed when Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 94th minute, Dacian Tilea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Leandro Bartoli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Revolución Joao FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. The Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
