Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aparicio Ladra kicked off to start the match. Plaza Babys CF's Abelardo Macías played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 4th minute of play. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abelardo Macías showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 10th minute of the match. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 24th minute of play forced Plaza Babys CF's goalkeeper Abelardo Macías to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yasin Saleh in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Abelardo Macías made a huge save. 34 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abelardo Macías made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 37th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Abelardo Macías could save by the left post. Camilo Gisbert made in the 41st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Cristian Sancho however managed to control. Abelardo Macías made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 44th minute. When Aparicio Ladra came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Plaza Babys CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aparicio Ladra couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Plaza Babys CF's Bernardino Aguilo got a free kick in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Plaza Babys CF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Camilo Gisbert made in the 56th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Cristian Sancho however managed to control. In the 57th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Macías saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes in the game Camilo Gisbert did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Cristian Sancho. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Plaza Babys CF's Aparicio Ladra fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 64 minutes into the match, Yasin Saleh dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 4-1. After having played for 67 minutes, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustín Saelices was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Plaza Babys CF's Bo Kristiansson was substituted for Aparicio Ladra. Plaza Babys CF made a substitution. Joseba Sacristán replaced Zahar Garzon. The supporters of Plaza Babys CF booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abelardo Macías made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Plaza Babys CF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Plaza Babys CF booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Bernardino Aguilo from long distance, 76 minutes into the match, got Julio Vera's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Roi Morales fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Plaza Babys CF's protests and gave Roi Morales a yellow card for diving instead. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Plaza Babys CF! Plaza Babys CF:s Abelardo Macías showed great skill when he stopped Daniel Zorita:s penalty. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo Kristiansson in the 92nd minute of play.
