In the 15th minute of the match Peru got a corner. BREAK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Milagros Fraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Riddle having to interfere. The supporters of Peru booed when BREAK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Štěpán Flídr didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. BREAK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Peru fully deserved thier win.
