Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herbert Kapera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Herbert Kapera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 5th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armin Pari, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Herbert Kapera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lucky Number Team's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Felix Montenegro's late challenge caught a Lucky Number Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Montenegro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a free kick in the 15th minute. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Kapera having to interfere. Lucky Number Team's Herbert Kapera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of play. Herbert Kapera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Lucky Number Team's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Herbert Kapera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herbert Kapera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 41st minute of the match. In the 46th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Lucky Number Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montenegro to fire away a dangerous shot which Herbert Kapera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Herbert Kapera didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ecuador's Felix Montenegro shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Alessandro Munno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Alessandro Munno fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lucky Number Team's protests and gave Alessandro Munno a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th minute, Alessandro Munno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Herbert Kapera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Cristian Sanchos short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Herbert Kapera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 64 minutes Lucky Number Team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Herbert Kapera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Lucky Number Team's goalkeeper Herbert Kapera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Herbert Kapera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Lucky Number Team's Attilio Orlandi was substituted for Biagio Rosini. Lucky Number Team's Emanuele Di Piazza was substituted for Armin Pari. Lucky Number Team's Aurelio Renzetti was substituted for Carmine Di Claudio. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Herbert Kapera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Lucky Number Team's Attilio Orlandi. But to his dismay, Attilio Orlandi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Felix Montes charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Montes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Attilio Orlandi took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Lucky Number Team were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
