When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Roque Claus sped through Colombia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. After having played for 14 minutes, Axel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karl-Åke Brummer came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Abram Sarmiento. But to his dismay, Abram Sarmiento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque Claus in the 19th minute of the match. Karl-Åke Brummer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 20th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucjan Bejger in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. Lanzenkirchen's Karl-Åke Brummer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 27th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Roque Claus sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Colombia booed when Lanzenkirchen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niclas Knebel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Abram Sarmiento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl-Åke Brummer was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Claus, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucjan Bejger to strike the kick off in the second half. Lanzenkirchen's Karl-Åke Brummer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Indiano in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to Lanzenkirchen getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Octav Bocșan hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Lanzenkirchen's Holger Häfeli got a free kick in the 59th minute. Karl-Åke Brummer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascual Carballar, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Colombia's Luis Cazalla got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abram Secada scored 2-3 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl-Åke Brummer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 78th minute, Ignacio Mastache fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Karl-Åke Brummer, passed just outside the right post. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Lanzenkirchen's Octav Bocșan. But to his dismay, Octav Bocșan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Roque Claus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Lasse Tilemann made in the 91st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Colombia's Orlando Tafalla. 93 minutes into the match, Lanzenkirchen's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Secada came free, but Karl-Åke Brummer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Roland Freytag got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
