Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) 6 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Yan Vander came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vlado Shikalanov in the 7th minute of play. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vlado Shikalanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. When Yan Vander came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the OAMOREVERDE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yan Vander couldn't finish the play. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yan Vander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yan Vander in the 23rd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 24th minute. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yan Vander went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. A throw-in in the 34th minute of the game was made by Efrain Moruga with Eliseo Noboa as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. OAMOREVERDE's Romain Bardet got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 40 minutes into the game, Romain Bardet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 44 minutes into the match, Romain Bardet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. In the 47th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Carballo to maneuver through the defense. After 48 minutes, Hugo Ferrant mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the OAMOREVERDE players grew even worse after the yellow card. Costa Rica:s Benito Sanz showed great skill when he stopped Marquinhos Lara:s penalty. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romain Bardet made a kick off. Aaron Alcocer's late challenge caught a OAMOREVERDE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Alcocer helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of OAMOREVERDE booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz stood somewhat misplaced when Romain Bardet came free in front of goal and shot 0-6 to the left of him in the 56 minute. In the 59th minute, Romain Bardet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute of the match, Yan Vander tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benito Sanz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yan Vander, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Lautaro Puig struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Paredes Xavier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. If Yan Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Younky Karisma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Abel Carballo fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Abel Carballo a yellow card for diving instead. Vlado Shikalanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute OAMOREVERDE were awarded a corner. Marquinhos Lara went to the cornerflag to take it. OAMOREVERDE's Younky Karisma was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Benito Sanz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Romain Bardet scored 0-7 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. OAMOREVERDE played a much better game than Costa Rica and deserved their victory. The Costa Rica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
