Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Jon-Erik Vedøy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. In the 12th minute Birger Øvstebø shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Costa Rica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Stathis Konstantakis was slow to take the kick. During this time Cheeky Nuts United's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Stathis Konstantakis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz did a great save. In the 15th minute, Fabian Lundberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cheeky Nuts United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Lundberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Birger Øvstebø notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Axel Tasis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elton John having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Jon-Erik Vedøy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jon-Erik Vedøy in the 32nd minute of play. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Lundberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birger Øvstebø in the 38th minute of the match. After 38 minutes, Alan Moruga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Cheeky Nuts United players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Lautaro Puig hit a great ball. In the 41st match minute, Cheeky Nuts United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Lundberg to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jon-Erik Vedøy in the 43rd minute of the match. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. After having played for 46 minutes, Jon-Erik Vedøy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cheeky Nuts United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jon-Erik Vedøy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabian Lundberg scored 0-5 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Elton John showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute Fabian Lundberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Rubio during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Stathis Konstantakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Lundberg in the 78th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Lundberg in the 83rd minute of play. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doctor Potass in the 85th minute of the match. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Fabian Lundberg scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 0-7. With an all-out effort, Cheeky Nuts United's Benito Sanz threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fabian Lundberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stathis Konstantakis in the 91st minute of play. Birger Øvstebø received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Birger Øvstebø slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 92nd minute. Cheeky Nuts United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
