Gallo Crisis's Pipo Orihuela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of play. After 47 played minutes Gallo Crisis got a freekick which was hit by Ief Van Geele.

With a little luck, Gallo Crisis's Pipo Orihuela got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck couldn't finish the play. Mathias Smets hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gallo Crisis throughout the match.
