Gölle EAC's Anselmo Dunixi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Dunixi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anselmo Dunixi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute. The corner led Ecuador's Luis Andino to fire away a dangerous shot which Anselmo Dunixi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of László Tihanyi's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute Christian Capuozzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anselmo Dunixi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of play. Anselmo Dunixi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Gölle EAC's Anselmo Dunixi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Gölle EAC's Christian Capuozzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Ecuador's Luis Andino in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gölle EAC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 25thth minute of the game Luis Andino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gölle EAC's Anselmo Dunixi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Agustín Saelices came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustín Saelices couldn't finish the play. Christian Capuozzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anselmo Dunixi saved Gölle EAC from getting behind. Anselmo Dunixi came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.

When Victor Van Houdtvin fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gölle EAC's protests and gave Victor Van Houdtvin a yellow card for diving instead. Victor Van Houdtvin kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Gölle EAC's goalkeeper Anselmo Dunixi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Anselmo Dunixi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from László Tihanyi in the 61st minute of the match. Anselmo Dunixi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 63rd minute of the match. Anselmo Dunixi was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Cristian Sancho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Sancho really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Anselmo Dunixi in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Gölle EAC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Capuozzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 80th minute by Daniel Zorita got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 85 minutes into the game, Primitivo Andino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gölle EAC the free kick. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anselmo Dunixi. Anselmo Dunixi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 95th minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador played a much better game than Gölle EAC and deserved their victory. The Gölle EAC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
