Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lázaro Lizbeth kicked off to start the match. Timmie Nyemanting kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beat Leutwyler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beat Leutwyler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 7th minute of play. After 14 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Beat Leutwyler came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Agustín Saelices. But to his dismay, Agustín Saelices quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind B68 Toftir's goalkeeper Beat Leutwyler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 41st minute. Lázaro Lizbeth took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Maximino Goi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for B68 Toftir. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Beat Leutwyler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 52nd minute of play. Maximino Goi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. B68 Toftir's Beat Leutwyler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 61st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia managed to get in a good position for a shot. B68 Toftir's supporters rose to their feet, but Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timmie Nyemanting received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timmie Nyemanting hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Montes during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. B68 Toftir's Beat Leutwyler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save B68 Toftir from getting a goal against them. Beat Leutwyler came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Beat Leutwyler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Beat Leutwyler firmly grabbed it by the left post. 85 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Beat Leutwyler, 0-3. B68 Toftir made a substitution. Bengt-Arne Blomberg replaced Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador played a much better game than B68 Toftir and deserved their victory. The B68 Toftir players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
