An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 34th minute of play forced 角美龙泉俱乐部队's goalkeeper 余松宁 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Espiga got free with 余松宁 in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 48thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 角美龙泉俱乐部队's 余松宁 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 卓林骋 was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, 角美龙泉俱乐部队's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but 余松宁 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 余松宁 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 余松宁 having to interfere. In the 59th minute, 卓林骋 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 余松宁 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute of the match Honduras got a corner. 角美龙泉俱乐部队's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmundo Espiga ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Honduras's corner Edmundo Espiga fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and 余松宁 quite easily take care of the ball. After 66 minutes, Moises Tafalla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Honduras and the 角美龙泉俱乐部队 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Moises Tafalla hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 余松宁 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmundo Espiga went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 75th minute Honduras were awarded a corner. Edmundo Espiga went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Christian Sancho managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luca Espinar in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 余松宁 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. During the 80th minute of the match 莫翀桑 completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave 莫翀桑 a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 82nd minute, 莫翀桑 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Navarro did an outstanding performance 83 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 3-1 to the right of an irritated 余松宁 in the goal. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Xavier Costa sped through 角美龙泉俱乐部队's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of 余松宁. Esteban Carvallo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The supporters of Honduras booed when 角美龙泉俱乐部队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. 倪斌翀 didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Moises Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 余松宁 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Honduras's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
