Alan Moruga's late challenge caught a FC LORD-Racing's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alan Moruga helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC LORD-Racing booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alexander Carballo got a free kick in the 16th minute. When Herkus Vadeikis fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC LORD-Racing's protests and gave Herkus Vadeikis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th match minute, FC LORD-Racing was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herkus Vadeikis to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Modestas Malakauskas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute of the match Juan Rubio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonas Grigutis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Edgaras Patamsis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. In the 40th minute, Alexander Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgaras Patamsis got free with Benito Sanz in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saulius Tulčius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Puig in the 47th minute of play forced FC LORD-Racing's goalkeeper Jonas Grigutis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 58th minute, Axel Tasis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC LORD-Racing made a substitution. Zigmantas Sviderskis replaced Erikas Gražys. In the 61st minute Edgaras Patamsis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Edgaras Patamsis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC LORD-Racing's Herkus Dambys got a free kick in the 70th minute. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. Eliseo Noboa might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonas Grigutis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseo Noboa ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Alexander Carballo hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, FC LORD-Racing's Herkus Dambys tried to score from far away in the 88th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Arvydas Liaugminas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match.
