When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Daniel Zorita sped through Pocho FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Silvio Calvet. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvio Calvet saved Pocho FC from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Antonio Arias lost his temper 54 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 53 minutes into the game, one of Ecuador:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Vasko Karaenev hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Silvio Calvet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 65th minute of the match. Vasko Karaenev's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vasko Karaenev helped the player get up and apologised. Vasko Karaenev kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Silvio Calvet made a huge save. Silvio Calvet was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felix Montenegro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 68 minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Pocho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Silvio Calvet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Raul Elequemedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
