Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Matthew McKail successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. 91 minutes in the game, Lautaro Mancebo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Matthew McKail having to interfere. Aziz Çakıroğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aziz Çakıroğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Mexico. Joel Gaona stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Matthew McKail. 3-1.
