Lucky Number Team's Herbert Kapera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 9th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Alessandro Munno sent off a good shot on target. When Emiliano Vitullo fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lucky Number Team's protests and gave Emiliano Vitullo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th match minute, Lucky Number Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Vitullo to maneuver through the defense. When Alessandro Munno came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Lucky Number Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alessandro Munno couldn't finish the play. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Herbert Kapera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Alessandro Munno tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Aurelio Burelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Aurelio Burelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emanuele Di Piazza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, Alessandro Munno notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armin Scacchi in the 43rd minute of play. Herbert Kapera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 46th minute of play. After some careless play in the Lucky Number Team defense, Patricio Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herbert Kapera. The Lucky Number Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herbert Kapera should have stopped the shot. Lucky Number Team's Attilio Orlandi was substituted for Armin Scacchi. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Attilio Orlandi was the one to do the kick off. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Herbert Kapera made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Emiliano Vitullo hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Attilio Orlandi kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Emanuele Di Piazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucky Number Team made a substitution. Emiliano Sessa replaced Aurelio Renzetti. Herbert Kapera was a little too slow when Tomas Illescas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 80th match minute, Lucky Number Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Attilio Orlandi to maneuver through the defense. After 82 played minutes Lucky Number Team got a freekick which was hit by Attilio Orlandi. In the 83rd minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th match minute, Lucky Number Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessandro Munno to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Lucky Number Team's Emiliano Porro got a free kick in the 96th minute. Tomas Illescas missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 98 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Herbert Kapera right hand side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Venezuela had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
