With his leg Dante Lacasa managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Lisboa FC's Eduardo Roriz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ivo Veloso succeeded in the game's 10th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Adalberto Pacheco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adalberto Pacheco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lisboa FC's Adalberto Pacheco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 36th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Adalberto Pacheco to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Mexico booed when Lisboa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Cerilo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adalberto Pacheco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Joel Gaona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 88 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Facundo Cadaval. Ivo Veloso took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The Lisboa FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
