In the 12th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thom Threepwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Peru's Julian Murillo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Thom Threepwood. Thom Threepwood yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cayo Mario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Radiohead Freaks Club's goalkeeper Thom Threepwood had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Julian Murillo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Thom Threepwood skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thom Threepwood showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 26th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Radiohead Freaks Club's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thom Threepwood came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thom Threepwood took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cayo Mario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayo Mario in the 44th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. Thom Threepwood showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 53rd minute of play forced Radiohead Freaks Club's goalkeeper Thom Threepwood to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 minutes, Gazanfer Kelim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Radiohead Freaks Club and the Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thom Threepwood had in the 72ndth minute some difficulties stopping Luz Tejedor's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Cayo Mario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru's Alonso Berganza managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kendall Roy in the 84 minute of the game. 86 minutes into the match, Radiohead Freaks Club's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Tenorio came free, but Thom Threepwood reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Radiohead Freaks Club's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Gallo came free, but Thom Threepwood reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Radiohead Freaks Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eliseo Mina took the corner. Gazanfer Kelim thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Thom Threepwood, a very annoying self made goal in the 93rd minute which led to 4-0. The throw-in from Jens-Ola Åkerström in the 96th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Rafael Gallo scored 5-0 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thom Threepwood, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Peru players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
