After some careless play in the USA defense, Miguel Zuasnabar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Day. The USA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Day should have stopped the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Cassius Byrne made the kick off in the second half. After 50 minutes of play, USA's Cassius Byrne made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sitthachat Jampeehom was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Rodney Lindov tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Vítor Bittencourt got free with Marco Day in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gavião Kyikatejê's Sitthachat Jampeehom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 63rd minute of play. Sitthachat Jampeehom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sitthachat Jampeehom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th match minute, USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jenson Smith to maneuver through the defense. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. 75 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Zuasnabar. Sitthachat Jampeehom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 77th minute of play. USA's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Miguel Zuasnabar 78 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. Sitthachat Jampeehom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khalid Parry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Baker hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. USA were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
