Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Calvet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 played minutes Pocho FC got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Dimas. After 7 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. Jozef Antalovič sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the game, Luis Andino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pocho FC the free kick. After 14 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. Silvio Calvet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvio Calvet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute of the match. Silvio Calvet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pocho FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 33rd minute Raul Elequemedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jozef Antalovič fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Pocho FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hugo Estefan in the 44th minute. Silvio Calvet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raul Elequemedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Elequemedo in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute Raul Elequemedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Jozef Antalovič made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 67th minute. In the 70th minute Jozef Antalovič shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustín Saelices struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Silvio Calvet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Silvio Calvet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 75th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Pocho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Silvio Calvet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvio Calvet. Pocho FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jozef Antalovič, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jozef Antalovič in the 84th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Silvio Calvet to make any attempt to save it. 89 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Luis Andino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvio Calvet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Pocho FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
