In the 18th minute, 江剑皓 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in 穆巴拉克's zone, Kevin Mastache stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 康克广 came out of the goal and Kevin Mastache tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abram Sarmiento in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 康克广 saved 穆巴拉克 from getting behind. After 31 played minutes 穆巴拉克 got a freekick which was hit by 胡烽斐. When Colombia's Abram Sarmiento in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 穆巴拉克's goalie prevented a goal. 康克广 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 41st minute of play. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 胡烽斐 in the 44th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abram Sarmiento to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in 穆巴拉克's zone, Axel Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 康克广 came out of the goal and Axel Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 61 minutes, Axel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 江剑皓 in the 62nd minute of play. 穆巴拉克's 康克广 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save 穆巴拉克 from getting a goal against them. 76 minutes into the match, 穆巴拉克's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but 康克广 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 穆巴拉克's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Axel Montenegro scored to the left of an out of position 康克广, making the score, 1-1. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
