Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Raul Elequemedo started the match with the kick off. Felix Montes hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Julio Vera was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Constantin Greblă. Silvio Calvet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute of the match Pocho FC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hugo Estefan ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cristian Sancho scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvio Calvet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jozef Antalovič recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pocho FC's goalkeeper Silvio Calvet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Silvio Calvet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvio Calvet came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Elequemedo in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pocho FC's Silvio Calvet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Pocho FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Sebastián Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jozef Antalovič. 46 minutes into the game, Patricio Dimas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pocho FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Pocho FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ecuador:s goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvio Calvet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Vladimiro Justin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Silvio Calvet could save by the left post. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Silvio Calvet made a huge save. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Silvio Calvet made a huge save. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 74th minute. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Silvio Calvet quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Silvio Calvet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 76th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Silvio Calvet in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silvio Calvet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Pocho FC's Silvio Calvet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Pocho FC from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vladimiro Justin during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pocho FC's Vladimiro Justin got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Calvet having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Pocho FC's goalkeeper Silvio Calvet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Silvio Calvet was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Felix Montenegro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Felix Montenegro really showed his touch with that goal: 2-5. Ecuador played a much better game than Pocho FC and deserved their victory. The Pocho FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
