Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, C.A.JORGOVAN's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Eustacio Beliran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Honesto. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 58th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Mancebo to maneuver through the defense. Gonzalo Hoya's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gonzalo Hoya's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. 61 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Lope came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Per-Åke Johansson replaced Miguel Lope. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eustacio Beliran came out and tried to block the shot, but Lautaro Mancebo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 77th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Gervasio Bermund notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Honesto in the 83rd minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Mikeldi, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
