Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sulo Montaña to make the kick off. A hard shot by Tayyip Taylan from long distance, 95 minutes into the match, got Jax Williamson's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Canada fully deserved thier win.
