In the 9th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Espinar to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Iordanis Anastasiadis made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 17th minute Nesor Abadie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Papo Abalos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihai Gherase in the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Honduras's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nesor Abadie was slow to take the kick. During this time Octavia's players had a chance to rest. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iordanis Anastasiadis in the 27th minute of the match. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iordanis Anastasiadis's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iordanis Anastasiadis, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After a rather tough play, Octavia's Mihai Gherase got a free kick in the 35th minute. If Iordanis Anastasiadis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes in the game Papo Abalos did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Nesor Abadie. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iordanis Anastasiadis, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iordanis Anastasiadis in the 52nd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honduras's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mihai Gherase 54 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Nesor Abadie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Nesor Abadie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tales Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the game, Octavia's Iordanis Anastasiadis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Papo Abalos made in the 70th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. Octavia's Mihai Gherase suffered a concussion in the 71st minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 71 minutes into the game, Milagros Cabal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Octavia the free kick. In the 72nd match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milagros Cabal to maneuver through the defense. Jobo Abel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute Luca Espinar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Frascuelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Octavia's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Oscar Frascuelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Nesor Abadie got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Papo Abalos in the 86 minute of the game. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jobo Abel in the 89th minute of play. Octavia were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Honduras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nesor Abadie took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Nesor Abadie got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lautaro Navarro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Alberto Abancens's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Abancens helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Octavia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
