Chile:s Thiago Pliego showed great skill when he stopped Alfonso Cordeara:s penalty. In the 10th minute, Alfonso Cordeara reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Thiago Pliego. The goal made the score 1-0. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidney Joannes in the 12th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Sidney Joannes notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Chile's Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 25 minutes into the match, Municipales FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Pipis Culot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 minutes Municipales FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. Municipales FC's Pipis Culot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Fontirroig in the 36th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Guillermo Fontirroig ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pipis Culot was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney Joannes in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A very good chance for a goal. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Borja Iglesias in the 62nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Municipales FC's Pipis Culot got control of the ball when Orlando Casaus tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Municipales FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
