Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aki Pego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aki Pego. Aki Pego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Marcus-Vinícius Berg took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Marcus-Vinícius Berg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Magen David's Aki Pego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 42nd minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Lars Näfver in the 43rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Aki Pego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 45th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Luz Tejedor put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of Aki Pego. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcus-Vinícius Berg made a kick off. After 55 minutes Magen David's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Magen David getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Boyde Bleazard hit a great ball. Magen David's Jedaiah Sakhai was substituted for Marcus-Vinícius Berg. In the 61st match minute, Magen David was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boyde Bleazard to maneuver through the defense. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Aki Pego made a huge save. Giora Hamburg kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Aki Pego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Alonso Berganza hit a great ball. Jedaiah Sakhai struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Magen David. Aki Pego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 78th minute of play forced Magen David's goalkeeper Aki Pego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jedaiah Sakhai, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jedaiah Sakhai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Milagros Fraga quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lars Näfver, made in the 94th minute of the game. 95 minutes into the match, Magen David's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Gallo came free, but Aki Pego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Despite being the better team, Peru failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
