Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Francisco Seco started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Edvard Bure left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stickleback Utd Xl fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Edvard Bure had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sly Collier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 7th minute of the match. Camilo Covarrubias's late challenge caught a Stickleback Utd Xl's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Covarrubias helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Covarrubias. Stephen Clapham succeeded in the game's 10th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. After 15 minutes Stickleback Utd Xl's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jaime Cazalla who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Jaime Cazalla got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sly Collier quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sly Collier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Cazalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Sly Collier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Stephen Clapham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Stephen Clapham came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stephen Clapham might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquin Gayoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stephen Clapham ran back to his position shaking his head. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephen Clapham in the 38th minute of play. Kevin Carballal hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Edvard Bure managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stickleback Utd Xl's supporters rose to their feet, but Edvard Bure was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francisco Seco took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sly Collier. Sly Collier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Edvard Bure's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edvard Bure stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Stickleback Utd Xl's Stephen Clapham. But to his dismay, Stephen Clapham quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephen Clapham in the 56th minute of play. Sly Collier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Stickleback Utd Xl fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Stickleback Utd Xl's Stephen Clapham looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edvard Bure in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 65 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Stephen Clapham came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 played minutes Stickleback Utd Xl got a freekick which was hit by Silvester Odell. Sly Collier made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stephen Clapham in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. In the 78thth minute of the game Edvard Bure who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wilson Piazza hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, Uruguay's Francisco Seco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sly Collier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Francisco Seco made a precise shot to the right of Sly Collier. Stickleback Utd Xl's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. In the 93rdth minute of the game Stephen Clapham who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stephen Clapham kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Maximiliano Escribano struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Sly Collier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. Stickleback Utd Xl were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Uruguay for a fine match.
