Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jaime Pardo started the match with the kick off. When Jaime Pardo came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Pardo couldn't finish the play. In the 10th match minute, Jesus Lärjungar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Erik Alström to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute, Jaime Pardo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Jesus Lärjungar's Simon Larsson didn't even have to move. Edgar Stenberg's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgar Stenberg helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Arne Lindgren in the 30th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Stenberg in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of Jesus Lärjungar booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Covarrubias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgar Stenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Xavier Zoido hit a great ball. Simon Larsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaime Pardo's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sven-Arne Lindgren was the one to do the kick off. Simon Larsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 56th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Arne Lindgren got free with Jacobo Nores in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. During the 75th minute of the match Per-Erik Alström completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Per-Erik Alström a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 76th match minute, Jesus Lärjungar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Erik Alström to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Jesus Lärjungar's Charlie Hedin got a free kick in the 81st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaime Pardo in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simon Larsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The throw-in from Leonard Ekberg in the 94th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Paraguay's Alan Campos.
