Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Edvard Bure made the kick off and thus started the match. A collision led to Stickleback Utd Xl getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Silvester Odell hit a great ball. 4 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edvard Bure. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Edvard Bure tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcos Cotilla was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Edvard Bure capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edvard Bure really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Stickleback Utd Xl's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Sly Collier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute of the match, Edvard Bure got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcos Cotilla was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Sly Collier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvester Odell. Stickleback Utd Xl's Sly Collier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 23rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Tomas Berganza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sly Collier was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Stephen Clapham might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Cotilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stephen Clapham ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stephen Clapham, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Miguel Miralles hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sly Collier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute Stephen Clapham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvester Odell in the 59th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvester Odell in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Cotilla saved Panama from getting behind. After 68 minutes Panama's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edvard Bure who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Stickleback Utd Xl's corner Edvard Bure fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcos Cotilla quite easily take care of the ball. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvard Bure in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Edvard Bure ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephen Clapham in the 75th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Edvard Bure cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 82nd minute Edvard Bure shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Tomas Berganza had to leave the field with a concussion. When Rich Thorn fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stickleback Utd Xl's protests and gave Rich Thorn a yellow card for diving instead. Panama's Estefania Rasgado was substituted for Tomas Berganza. After a rather tough play, Stickleback Utd Xl's Rich Thorn got a free kick in the 88th minute. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvard Bure in the 91st minute of the match. After 95 minutes, Miguel Miralles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the Stickleback Utd Xl players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th minute, Miguel Miralles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson Piazza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Stickleback Utd Xl fans cheered their team off the field, for while Panama had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
