In the 4th minute Sulo Montaña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Buturugã made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Pascual Carballar sent off a good shot on target. 14 minutes into the match, LOI's Sulo Montaña sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Colombia's George Buturugã threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abram Sarmiento, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 17 minutes into the game, Colombia's Abram Sarmiento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. George Buturugã made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 21 minutes of play, Colombia's Santino Seco made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. George Buturugã was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özgür Özbay in the 25th minute of the match. Sulo Montaña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ahmet Hamdi Ortan was slow to take the kick. During this time LOI's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Özgür Özbay got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedro Manzanares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 36 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Sulo Montaña came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sulo Montaña in the 40th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sulo Montaña in the 43rd minute of play. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 49th minute LOI were awarded a corner. Ahmet Hamdi Ortan went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led LOI's Ahmet Hamdi Ortan to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Manzanares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abram Sarmiento made a kick off. Sulo Montaña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Colombia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Sulo Montaña scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Manzanares, making the score, 2-2. Özgür Özbay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. In the 63rd minute, Sulo Montaña left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LOI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. In the 66th minute, LOI's Sulo Montaña dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sulo Montaña's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. When Colombia's Abram Sarmiento in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LOI's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Sulo Montaña's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Özgür Özbay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. LOI made a substitution. Tayyip Taylan replaced Ahmet Hamdi Ortan. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. In the 84th match minute, LOI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cabbar Dinçay to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute, Cabbar Dinçay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atak Koral charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Atak Koral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 91 played minutes LOI got a freekick which was hit by Atak Koral. LOI made a substitution. Kerimhan Cevher replaced Sulo Montaña. In the 92nd match minute, LOI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atak Koral to maneuver through the defense. Kevin Mastache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97th minute, LOI's Tayyip Taylan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-5. The LOI players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
