Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Bora Hazer made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cumali Neşat in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zafer Musa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK's goalkeeper Bora Hazer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustín Saelices. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cumali Neşat in the 25th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the game, A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK's Cumali Neşat nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ergincan Özdal, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Baran Alp Barın in the 32nd minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ecuador's goalie and right to Alfredo Jerano. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Bora Hazer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bora Hazer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Agustín Saelices blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bora Hazer having to make a save. When Juan Sebastián Puig fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Juan Sebastián Puig a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 minutes Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera managed, with a little bit of luck, save Cumali Neşat's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. Julio Vera was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Cumali Neşat capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cumali Neşat really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Bora Hazer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zafer Musa kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Primitivo Andino made in the 71st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Felix Montenegro immediately put the ball in play. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cumali Neşat in the 72nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK's Cumali Neşat slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 0-4 after 75 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 79th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 82nd minute of play forced A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK's goalkeeper Bora Hazer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Primitivo Andino fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Primitivo Andino a yellow card for diving instead. Cumali Neşat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. In the 100th minute of the match A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Baran Alp Barın ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Baran Alp Barın got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Ecuador lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
