Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jake Marriott in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Kristian Ottaway cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Henley on Thames United fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Henley on Thames United's Jake Marriott looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Kristian Ottaway put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Jake Marriott stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Jake Marriott tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Jake Marriott managed to get in a good position for a shot. Henley on Thames United's supporters rose to their feet, but Jake Marriott was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 30 minutes Henley on Thames United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jaime Cazalla who took care of the corner kick. Maximiliano Escribano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 38 in the game by Francisco Seco from a close distance when the talented Sofoklis Prinianakis managed to make a qualified save. Henley on Thames United's players were relieved. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kristian Ottaway in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. The Uruguay players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Henley on Thames United were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kristian Ottaway to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 50 minutes, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristian Ottaway, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Grant Sherwood during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 55th minute of play forced Henley on Thames United's goalkeeper Sofoklis Prinianakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristian Ottaway, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Henley on Thames United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Houghton didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Escribano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Sofoklis Prinianakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sofoklis Prinianakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximiliano Escribano's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. With his leg Joaquin Gayoso managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Henley on Thames United's Jake Marriott fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kristian Ottaway in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. Jaime Cazalla kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Henley on Thames United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mitch Creighton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sofoklis Prinianakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Seco's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Sofoklis Prinianakis came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano. But to his dismay, Maximiliano Escribano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Jaime Cazalla hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Kevin Carballal hit a great ball. Uruguay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Kristian Ottaway scored to the left of an out of position Joaquin Gayoso, making the score, 2-5. The Henley on Thames United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
