But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Paz Rocha couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valentin Voicu was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Valentin Voicu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Heitor Paim Belluci was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Yusuf Kaya did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-2 to the left of a surprised Heitor Paim Belluci 76 minutes into the match. Baraxil Sarrate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Pedroso Kimura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
