In the 29th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Prats to maneuver through the defense. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Estevam Moroño to make the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. DT Czechowice-Dziedzice⭐'s Fabian Owsiak was substituted for Andrzej Szarmach. After a defensive mix-up in DT Czechowice-Dziedzice⭐'s zone, Luz Tejedor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. António Trubin came out of the goal and Luz Tejedor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. António Trubin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 80th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Trubin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 81st minute. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Estevam Moroño tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Peru booed when DT Czechowice-Dziedzice⭐ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Estevam Moroño didn't get a good kick on the ball. António Trubin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Peru players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
