Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) KAA Kapelle's Gabriel Wenderix started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gabriel Wenderix received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Gabriel Wenderix slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. In the 9th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Gabriel Wenderix capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gabriel Wenderix really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute, Tomas Illescas made a precise shot to the right of Jannes Kerselaers. KAA Kapelle's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Kersten in the 27th minute of play. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jannes Kerselaers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Jannes Kerselaers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. KAA Kapelle's Jannes Kerselaers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save KAA Kapelle from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaiet Vazquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Kersten in the 59th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in KAA Kapelle's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jannes Kerselaers came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. KAA Kapelle's Wayne Quvelirs was substituted for Albert Stocks. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 73rd minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulus Iven in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes in the game Wayne Quvelirs did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Kaiet Vazquez. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulus Iven's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Venezuela's Patricio Costa in the 83rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Jannes Kerselaers was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for KAA Kapelle through an amazing save. A collision led to KAA Kapelle getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Tomm De Hertoge hit a great ball. Jannes Kerselaers made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. 96 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jannes Kerselaers. Patricio Costa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. When the final whistle went the supporters of Venezuela were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant KAA Kapelle side.
