Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Berganza started the match with the kick off. In the 6th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Cambeiro to maneuver through the defense. Bryant Solis struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Marcos Cotilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DZINTARS. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Pål Bergmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Barrios to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Kārlis Dzintars came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, DZINTARS's Bryant Solis got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryant Solis in the 30th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bryant Solis in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Cotilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ģirts Ozols took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A collision led to DZINTARS getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Egons Ozollapa hit a great ball. The Panama players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. DZINTARS were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Bryant Solis made the kick off in the second half. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. DZINTARS made a substitution. Henrihs Linkūns replaced Kārlis Dzintars. Pål Bergmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 59th minute of play. After 62 played minutes DZINTARS got a freekick which was hit by Henrihs Linkūns. 64 minutes into the match, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pål Bergmann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felipe Ros during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Ros to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute Bryant Solis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Miralles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After taking down the ball on Panama's corner Abraham Alguacil fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pål Bergmann quite easily take care of the ball. Panama's Felipe Ros suffered a concussion in the 81st minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Panama made a substitution. Alberto Sainz replaced Felipe Ros. After a rather tough play, DZINTARS's Henrihs Linkūns got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ģirts Ozols in the 85th minute. Henrihs Linkūns hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The supporters of DZINTARS booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dylan Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. DZINTARS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
