An unexpectedly hard shot by Ģirts Ozols in the 13th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Christian Sancho got a free kick in the 16th minute. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryant Solis in the 17th minute of the match. Honduras's Luca Espinar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ingvars Tresters, made in the 18th minute of the game. 20 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Kārlis Dzintars came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 minutes Honduras's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Egons Ozollapa who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pål Bergmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Esteban Carvallo hit a great ball. In the 30thth minute of the game Bryant Solis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Honduras's attentive Luca Espinar managed to snatch the ball when Ingvars Tresters made a throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 34th minute, Sebastian Villa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Egons Ozollapa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lautaro Navarro didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when DZINTARS's Bryant Solis shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bryant Solis to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes in the game Ingvars Tresters did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ģirts Ozols. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Bryant Solis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. Moises Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pål Bergmann having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Egons Ozollapa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Milagros Cabal fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Honduras's protests and gave Milagros Cabal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milagros Cabal to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, DZINTARS's Egons Ozollapa tried to score from far away in the 67th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Emanuel Ocampo got a free kick in the 74th minute. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Ģirts Ozols sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Bryant Solis managed to get in a good position for a shot. DZINTARS's supporters rose to their feet, but Bryant Solis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 88 minutes into the game, Bryant Solis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lautaro Navarro. Bryant Solis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. After 92 played minutes Egons Ozollapa scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Lautaro Navarro who was too lazy, 1-6. In the 95th minute, Henrihs Linkūns left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DZINTARS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7.
